Local Interest Visits operates on the basis that any Frome Third Age member who would like to visit anywhere of interest can propose a visit, checking that it is open on the Friday in question and confirming costs. Details of the next month's visit will be announced at the main monthly meeting at the Assembly Rooms, including a proposed meeting time for the visit, and any Frome Third Age members can go.
Meg Young and Sandy Earner will provide minimal coordination and you should speak to either of them if you wish to propose a visit or have any other queries. Both will normally attend the main monthly meeting and you can speak to them there, or email them on meg@highandlow.plus.com or sandy.earner@gmail.com respectively.
The next visit, on Friday 4th July, will be to the Hawk Conservancy Trust, near Andover. It’s just off the A303, postcode SP11 8DY, about an hour’s drive from Frome. It’s advisable to pre-book online, £20.50 for Seniors. It’s a great day out - check out their website. Free parking, plus designated disabled parking close to the entrance.
